Ashes into the sea

Throwing ashes into the sea is a solemn and very special ceremony. When the last wish of one of our loved ones is to rest forever somewhere in the Mediterranean, Blue Med Charter makes this intimate and emotional act available to family members.

At Blue Med Charter, we have express authorization to throw ashes into the sea, granted by the Ministry of Public Works through the General Directorate of the Merchant Marine.

Our professional skipper will direct the sailboat to an appropriate point, far enough from the coast where they wish to deposit the ashes in the sea, far from any other boat. At that moment, the captain will take the exact coordinates of latitude and longitude, which he will later give to the family, so that they have proof of the exact point.

If desired, you can prepare a playlist with emotional music, throw flowers into the sea or make a toast in honor of the deceased.
